Highpointe to Open On-Site Sales Office/July Construction Update

July 20, 2017

The Highpointe at Rebecca open house events continue to draw large crowds (there were nearly 150 people at just one single event last month), and construction crews are working tirelessly to ensure this premier retirement living community in Allison Park is finished by early September. Beginning on August 1, another section of the building will be ready for people to visit – a Highpointe sales office.

June 2017 Highpointe at Rebecca Project Update

June 06, 2017

Last month, Highpointe at Rebecca hosted over 200 people for its first public open house (featuring tours of the three completed model apartments), but that doesn’t mean construction will slow down anytime soon on this premier retirement living community in Allison Park. As the other apartments and common areas begin to take shape, so are the living spaces outside Highpointe’s walls.

Highpointe was designed with Concordia’s standards of quality, security and value, and this mindset also extends to the grounds around the building, which residents will experience without worrying about any of the upkeep. In the building’s courtyard, where many activities and concerts will be held, a water feature with a two-tier waterfall and large pond for koi is finished. Almost every stone used in its construction was salvaged from a former structure on the Highpointe building site. A frame for a large gas fire ring is underway. The resort-style backyard atmosphere will also extend to the green spaces on the east and west sides of the building, with plans for a bocce court, putting green and second water feature being discussed.

It seems like we’re starting to see the light at the end of the Highpointe at Rebecca tunnel. While many of you have been following the building’s progress on our construction cam, there is a lot of work that the camera doesn’t pick up. Here are a few highlights of what’s happening at Highpointe:

March 2017 Construction Update

March 22, 2017

Progress on the Highpointe at Rebecca building can be seen daily at this point, as the builders ramp up production to get the building fully “under roof” so we can fast track the interior work as soon as possible. As of today, the roof is completed, the center stairwell is done, drywall has started on the East wing ceiling, all interior plumbing and electric is well on its way and the sound system is being installed. In the coming weeks, we expect to see considerable progress on the garages, other stairwells, drywall in the apartments, duct work, brickwork in the courtyard and more.

Concordia’s dedication to quality, security and value is being integrated into every aspect of the design and building process, with construction still on track for a grand opening in early fall 2017.

December 2016 Construction Update

December 27, 2016

We hope everyone reading this had a very Merry Christmas! May God Bless you and your family in 2017.

We are at the point in the building project where we are seeing visual progress every day on the construction of Highpointe at Rebecca. The building’s lower level windows and showers are installed. The second floor cement work is nearly complete, and the block work and roofs for half of the garages will be finished soon. Framing on the second floor and electrical work on the lower level are both underway as well. In short, it’s starting to look like a real-life building – which is extremely exciting!
