DISCOUNTS
Looking at the pricing for any retirement living community can be overwhelming at first, but many current Highpointe at Rebecca residents were surprised to discover that they could live at Highpointe for the same or less than what they were paying in their current homes or apartments – but with all the support services and amenities of our beautiful community. For the month of October 2018 only, Highpointe will be offering One-Year Anniversary Discounts – an opportunity you don’t want to miss.
6 Percent Discount
For those who commit to an apartment in the month of October, we are offering a 6% discount on the entrance fee, monthly fee and second person fee.
Veteran’s Discount
All eligible veterans will receive a 3% discount on their entrance fee. This discount will be added on top of the 6% discount. Only one veteran’s discount can be applied per couple. This also applies to spouses of deceased veterans.
Rebecca Residence Services Discount
For a limited time, those who commit to an apartment will receive a 10% discount on future health care services at Concordia at Rebecca Residence, which offers short-term rehabilitation, personal care and long-term nursing care. The 10% discount will be applied to your Daily Rate and Level of Care fee.
These advantageous One-Year Anniversary Discounts can save you thousands now and in the future. For example, if you choose a standard two bedroom apartment, the 6% discount alone can save you between $16,000 and $24,000 over 10 years. Want to learn more? Spring/Summer 2018 Discount Update
June 15, 2018
As we welcomed the first Spring at our new retirement community, our residents tell us they love being here. It feels like home and the worry-free living lifestyle allows them to be more independent than ever before.
This time of year brings new beginnings, fresh starts and beauty. In honor of the weather taking a turn for the better, Highpointe at Rebecca is offering a 3% discount on the Entrance Fee, Monthly Fee and Second Person Fee. These percentage points could work out to thousands of dollars over the years when you consider that while the Entrance Fee is only paid once, the Monthly Fee and Second Person Fee discount will apply for as long as you live at Highpointe.
In addition, we have provided our current residents with a coupon for $2,500 to invite their family or friends to make the move to Highpointe. If their family member or friend accept the coupon they receive $2,500 off the entrance fee in addition to the current percentage discount.
This one-time offer is even more advantageous when combined with our Veteran’s Discount: 3% off the Entrance Fee for eligible veterans/spouses.
There’s no better time to take a look at what our residents call the greatest retirement value in town. Consider making the move to Highpointe while these discounts are still available. Highpointe staff members are always happy to have a no-pressure, no-obligation meeting with you to help you better understand the specific pricing models and discounts or to answer any other questions you have. Call 724-444-1521 to schedule an appointment for a personal tour. Or join us at one of our upcoming events.

Getting to Know the Neighbors at Highpointe: June 2017
June 01, 2018
We hear a lot of great things from our retirement living residents about our services, and we wanted to take the opportunity to share one of their stories with you.
Dan and Barb Treusch, two of Highpointe at Rebecca’s founding residents, were not originally looking to move into a retirement home for another five years. Dan’s older brother, Adam, convinced them otherwise. When the Treusches decided to accompany Adam and his wife to a Highpointe at Rebecca information session, they instantly fell in love with the idea of spending the rest of their lives at Highpointe.
“We went to the information session, found out what the plan was and crunched the numbers,” Dan said. “Everything worked out perfectly and we could not be any happier with the decision we made.”
Before moving to Highpointe, Dan and Barb lived in Stanton Heights, a couple miles from downtown Pittsburgh. Dan, a veteran, has been retired since 2010 and Barb recently retired from nursing at a Pittsburgh hospital. They have two sons - Danny Jr. and Carl - and a granddaughter named Olive.
The Treusches enjoy the convenience of Highpointe by having access to all of their necessities on one floor and not having to deal with any outside maintenance.
“You just get to relax,” Barb said. “It is a move at your own pace environment. The staff and residents of Concordia are incredible, making our time here wonderful.”
The couple is heavily involved in the wide range of activities offered at Highpointe. Barb joined the Silver Sneakers club and participates in classes that help participants work on balance, joint stiffness and general exercise. She also enjoys monthly bingo and working with arts and crafts. Dan, who is a member of the woodshop committee, takes time to build handy crafts/structures from recycled wood, including the raised garden bed that sits at Highpointe’s garden. Together, Dan and Barb also attend the weekly chapel service that is held every Wednesday.
Their advice to those thinking about joining the Concordia family is simple: “Come and check out all of the amazing amenities and services that we have to offer. Once you see it for yourself there is no doubt choosing Concordia is the right decision.”
The Treusches are extremely grateful for all of the blessings their new home offers, including the time spent with their new neighbors.
“Coming to Concordia is a change in lifestyle, but the way we live now is something every senior citizen should experience.”
If you are thinking about joining Dan and Barb at Highpointe at Rebecca, we hope that you will consider joining us at an upcoming event or for a complimentary lunch and tour of the community. Those interested are encouraged to complete an application soon, before our current discounts expire. To schedule your visit, please call Admissions Counselor and Resident Care Coordinator Julie Spirnock at 724-444-1521 or e-mail RebeccaRetirement@ConcordiaLM.org.

One of Highpointe’s Early Bird Discounts Decreases by One Percent
March 01, 2018
Highpointe at Rebecca, Concordia’s new retirement community in Allison Park, opened in September 2017 to rave reviews – as well as with some deep discounts that have saved residents thousands of dollars. One notable promotion was a 6% discount on the Entrance Fee, Monthly Fee and Second Person Fee.
Effective March 1, 2018, that discount drops to 5%, then continues to decrease by one percent on the first of every month until the discount ends on July 31. Click here to view pricing and floor plans.
Concordia is continuing to offer two other advantageous discounts. If you are a qualifying veteran or the spouse of a veteran, we are offering a 3% veteran’s discount on your Entrance Fee. The other limited-time offer is a 10% discount on health services at Concordia at Rebecca Residence, which will also save you money if you ever need personal care or skilled nursing in the future.
One of the biggest concerns for those looking into retirement living communities is the price, and many find that Concordia’s brand of quality, security and value is often comparable or even less expensive than staying in their own homes.
Or join us at one of our upcoming Open House events.

Money Matters: Discount to Decrease in March
January 26, 2018
One of the biggest concerns for those looking into retirement living communities is the price, and many find that Concordia’s brand of quality, security and value is often comparable or even less expensive than staying in their own homes.
As a bonus to those who decide to move to Highpointe at Rebecca, Concordia is currently offering three advantageous discounts: a 6% discount on the Entrance Fee, Monthly Fee and Second Person Fee; a 3% veteran’s discount on the Entrance Fee for eligible veterans/spouses; and a 10% discount on future health care services at Concordia at Rebecca Residence, located on the same campus. Now is the time to get the lowest price on retirement living at Highpointe, because the limited-time 6% discount is scheduled to roll back this year.
Beginning on March 1, the 6% discount will drop to 5%, then continue to decrease by one percent on the first of every month until the discount ends on July 1. This means that February 28 is the last day to lock in a 6% discount that will continue saving you money on your Monthly Fee and Second Person Fee the entire time you live at Highpointe, not to mention the thousands saved on your Entrance Fee. If you choose a standard two bedroom apartment, the 6% discount alone can save you between $16,000 to $24,000 in just 10 years.
Moving to Highpointe is even more cost-effective if you are the veteran or the spouse of a veteran and qualify for our 3% veteran’s discount on your Entrance Fee. The other limited-time offer, a 10% discount on health services at Concordia at Rebecca Residence, will also save you money if you ever need short term rehabilitation, personal care or skilled nursing in the future.
As founding Highpointe residents John and Mary Respasky said, “Come and take a look for yourself. You will be surprised at all the amenities and services offered at such a reasonable rate.”
Consider making the move to Highpointe while these discounts are still available in full. Highpointe staff members are always happy to have a no-pressure, no-obligation meeting with you to help you better understand the specific pricing models and discounts or to answer any other questions you have. Call 724-444-1521 to schedule an appointment with an admissions counselor or message us through our Contact Form.
